Our client is a leading US-based manufacturer specializing in custom disc products for businesses, events, and personal use. Known for their high-quality and customizable solutions, they sought to scale their digital advertising performance to reach a broader audience and achieve greater profitability.

They partnered with us to optimize their Google Ads campaigns, address inefficiencies, and create a data-driven strategy that would deliver measurable improvements.

The Challenge:

Before partnering with us, the client faced significant challenges in achieving consistent profitability from their Google Ads campaigns. Their existing campaigns struggled with inefficiencies in targeting, resulting in a high cost per conversion and low ROAS.

Additionally, there were issues with tracking in their Google Ads and analytics setup, making it difficult to accurately measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. Their ad structure also lacked the optimization needed to highlight key product offerings effectively, limiting their ability to scale revenue. The client needed a complete overhaul of their strategy to resolve tracking issues, reduce wasted ad spend, drive high-quality traffic, and improve conversion rates.

Situation (May 2024):

Before we began optimizing the client’s campaigns, their advertising performance showed solid results but left room for growth. With an ad spend of $9,407.13, the campaigns generated 894,622 impressions and 3,354 clicks, resulting in a click-through rate (CTR) of 0.37%. The average cost per click (CPC) stood at $2.80, indicating cost-effective traffic acquisition.

The campaigns achieved 133.88 conversions at a conversion rate of 3.98%, with a cost per conversion of $70.27. This resulted in $54,288.30 in revenue and a ROAS of 5.77. While these results were respectable, we identified significant untapped potential to scale performance further, optimize costs, and unlock greater profitability for the client.

Our approach:

Recognizing the untapped potential in the client’s campaigns, we developed a comprehensive optimization strategy aimed at scaling performance and maximizing profitability.

First, we resolved existing tracking issues within their Google Ads and analytics setup to ensure accurate measurement of campaign performance. This allowed us to access actionable data for more informed decision-making.

Next, we restructured the campaigns to focus on high-performing product categories and target audiences with the highest intent to convert. By refining the targeting and prioritizing budget allocation to the most promising opportunities, we aimed to improve efficiency and returns.

To further enhance results, we revamped ad creatives to better communicate the value of the client’s products, ensuring that messaging aligned with customer expectations. Simultaneously, we optimized the bidding strategy to maximize visibility while maintaining cost efficiency.

Finally, we employed a rigorous testing and optimization process, continuously analyzing campaign performance to identify areas for improvement. This iterative approach allowed us to scale the campaigns effectively while delivering consistent results.

Results (August 2024):

Following the implementation of our optimization strategy, the client’s campaigns achieved exceptional results in August 2024. With an ad spend of $7,847.79, the campaigns generated 996,225 impressions and 3,433 clicks, maintaining a stable click-through rate (CTR) of 0.34%.

The conversion rate increased significantly to 14.94%, resulting in 514.57 conversions. The cost per conversion dropped substantially to $15.25, reflecting improved efficiency in driving valuable actions. Overall, the campaigns generated $98,158.29 in revenue, achieving an impressive return on ad spend (ROAS) of 12.51.

These results highlight the success of refining the client’s campaign strategy, resolving tracking issues, and unlocking the untapped potential identified in their initial performance.
