Meet our client, an online toy store eager to expand its reach on a new platform. Previously relying solely on Facebook for sales, they sought our expertise to venture into the world of Google Ads. The client aimed to expand their presence across multiple platforms and improve visibility to attract more potential customers. We started with a small budget of just 1000 lv. in Bulgaria. Also, we encountered challenges with E-commerce tracking and inaccuracies in their Google Analytics data. Since this was the client’s first experience with Google Ads, they approached the process with some skepticism.
Our objective was clear: to start generating revenue through Google Ads, knowing that it would be a gradual process requiring patience.
We began by assessing and correcting inaccuracies in the Google Analytics data. Next, we focused on fixing E-commerce tracking issues. Once all tracking components were correctly set up, we moved on to crafting a strategy and creating ads.
Given the limited budget, we chose a simple structure with one search campaign and one display campaign. The initial months were dedicated to testing and fine-tuning all elements.
By Q4, during the peak advertising period, we started to see success, gaining momentum and achieving impressive results.
From June 23 to December 23, we successfully scaled to the first 500 purchases through Google Ads. With an ad spend of 6,800 lv., we achieved over 1,770,000 impressions. Our cost per click (CPC) remained steady at 0.20 lv.. We also maintained an impressive conversion rate of 5.03% and an outstanding cost per acquisition (CPA) of 3.89 lv..
Our successes highlighted the importance of patience, accurate tracking, and careful planning. This shows that with a great product and well-planned marketing, good results are achievable.
In summary, our collaboration resulted in substantial enhancements to the performance of our campaigns. The key to our success was a comprehensive optimization strategy. By carefully identifying and addressing challenges, we made strategic adjustments to various elements of the campaigns, including ad targeting, copy, and creative assets.
